A quarter century of development through listening to clients
The first version of our software was created in 2000, when electronic management of hospitality in Serbia was still a novelty. From those early years we have carried one approach to this day — software is built together with the people who use it.
We sat for years with café owners, listened to cooks struggling with slow orders, and talked to retailers about what made their work harder. Every new feature of the program came as a response to a real need, not as something that "sounded like a good idea to a programmer."
We founded the Gart brand in 2014 to give the work a clearer identity. The program was already mature by then, and the team stayed committed to developing it the same way — with clients, not just for them.
Complex inside, simple on the outside
After 25 years of development, our software has naturally become complex — covering recipes, inventory, two-way kitchen communication, multiple price tiers, barcode systems, eInvoicing, reporting and much more.
The paradox is that it has become easier to use at the same time. The reason is simple: over the years we have optimized and layered functionality so that users see only what they need in a given moment. Waiters do not see bookkeeping, cooks do not see margins, owners do not see a list of tables.

A small team with a big focus
Our team is a smaller group of people who simultaneously develop, implement and support Gart software. This means that when you contact us, you speak with people who know the program inside out, not with an intermediary. As the company grows, the team will expand, but the approach will stay the same.
